Michael Sidgmore
AGM Studio Co-Founder
Michael Sidgmore has spent the past decade as an investor and operator in fintech. He is a Partner and Co-Founder of Broadhaven Ventures, a global early-stage fintech investor, and minority owner and strategic partner of Cantilever Group, a GP stakes fund with BTG Pactual. Michael also founded Alt Goes Mainstream, a podcast and newsletter platform with over 120 interviews featuring industry leaders. Broadhaven Ventures is affiliated with Broadhaven Capital Partners, a financial services investment bankthat has completed over $90 billion M&A transaction volume. Before Broadhaven, Michael was an early, pre-product employee and SVP at iCapital, the leading operating system for private markets with over $200 billion in assets, and the first sales hire and Director of Institutional Investments at Mosaic, a solar finance platform with $14 billion in solar loan originations. He began his career at Goldman Sachs in the Principal Strategic Investments Group. Michael is also an investor in Angel City FC, the LA-based women’s soccer team, and holds a BSc in International Relations from LSE.
Greg Phillips
AGM Studio Co-Founder
Prior to co-founding Broadhaven, Greg Phillips spent the previous 15 years as an advisor, operator and investor focused on the financial services and technology sectors. He was a mergers and acquisitions professional with UBS Investment Bank and Wasserstein Perella & Co. where he advised on over $40 billion in completed M&A transactions. As an investment banker, Mr. Phillips advised asset managers, stock and derivative exchanges, brokers and trading technology companies. He was later an executive with R.J. O’Brien & Associates, a leading independent derivatives broker. Mr. Phillips was also previously employed at Citadel Investment Group and MII, an activist investor in emerging technology companies. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago.
